My Thoughts:
I had the opportunity to write for my church as we are gearing up for Resurrection Sunday. A group of us were ask to do some creative meditations for the Holy Week. We were all given the 7 last things that Christ said from the Cross. I got "Today you will be with me in paradise".
The Song:
I wrote from a dual perspective of the criminal and myself. I love the hook!
"I'm the Prince of thieves, Loved by the KING of kings..."
The song came in spurts and the hook came in one sitting. It was a little hard to get the melody locked and timing right. I think it came out really well. I hope ppl hear this and are pushed to love Jesus more! We are that criminal in desperate need of grace and savior.
